Emergency minister meets with Turkish ambassador

On September 20, Azerbaijan's Minister of Emergency Situations, colonel-general Kamaladdin Heydarov, met with the Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci.

Report informs that Minister Heydarov welcomed the ambassador and stressed the friendly and fraternal ties between the two countries.

He especially noted that existing brotherly relations between President Ilham Aliyev and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan raised the ties between the countries to a qualitatively higher level.

Bagci expressed gratitude for the warm reception and the tremendous support in extinguishing forest fires in Turkey, extended on the instruction of President Ilham Aliyev. Thanking Azerbaijani firefighters and rescuers for their professional work and self-sacrifice, the ambassador noted that Turkey always stands by fraternal Azerbaijan.

The sides also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
