Citizens can move around Baku within the specified time

On April 3, Azerbaijan confirmed 400 cases of COVID-19 infection in the country. By the information of the Operative Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, today, 43 more have tested positive for coronavirus. Thus, the country toughened a special quarantine regime on the territory of Azerbaijan. Operative Headquarters made new decisions regarding the movement of the people in Baku, as well as other regions of the country. Starting April 5, citizens of Azerbaijan will have to inform the authorities every time via SMS.

Citizens can solve their problems by moving to any part of Baku within the period specified in the permit, Report quotes the Deputy Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President Jeyhun Salmanov.

."It does not mean that a citizen living in Yasamal (Baku) district should buy medicine from a pharmacy in that district, they can go to pharmacies in other places. However, he/she must return to his place of residence within the specified period, "he said.
