Central Election Commission given new authority

President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree amending the List of officials authorized to draw up protocols on cases of administrative offenses considered by district (city) courts."

Report informs that according to the decree, part 5-1 was added to the list with the following content.

"5-1. Protocol on the cases of administrative offenses provided for in Article 179-1 of the Code on behalf of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan."
