Baku City Executive Power signs agreement with British Company

The executive power of Baku is implementing a new project - the cutting edge concept of collecting, transporting and sorting solid waste. In this regard, an agreement was concluded with the British company Mott MacDonald and, first of all, work began in the Narimanov district, Report informs citing the press service of the Baku City Executive Power.

The main stage of the concept will start on July 10. Modern-type containers are installed at all sites for household waste.Containers are of two colors - green and orange. Orange containers are designed for paper, cardboard, glass, metal and plastic waste, and green are for others. Each apartment will initially be given two-color packages for the convenience of residents.

Executive Power calls for residents of Narimanov district to support the project. According to the information, similar work will be carried out in other areas in the future.
