Azerbaijan registers 2,104 twins, 60 triplets this year

The district (city) registration departments of the Justice Ministry registered 82,928 newborns for January-September of 2021, Report learnt from the State Statistics Committee.

This figure amounts to 11.1 for every 1,000 people of the population.

Among the babies born, 53.5% are baby boys, 46.5% are baby girls.

Of the newborns, 2,104 are twins, 60 are triplets, and 4 are quadruplets.
