Ali Ahmadov: There is no reason to hold extraordinary parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan

"I do not know the reason for the rumors about early parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan. Perhaps journalists want to increase number of readers with this information. There is no reason to hold extraordinary parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan”.

Report informs, Deputy Prime Minister, Executive Secretary of ruling New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov said.

He recalled that the next municipal elections will be held in December this year: "The constitution states that the parliamentary elections should be held in November every 5 years. According to the legislation, next parliamentary elections will be held in November 2020."
