Ukrainian MPs vow further support for Azerbaijan

Members of the friendship group of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with Azerbaijan have visited the State Committee on Work with the Diaspora.

Report informs, citing the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, that the deputy chairman of the committee, Vagif Seyidbayov, expressed satisfaction with the meeting on the Day of Restoration of Azerbaijan's State Independence.

The Ukraine-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group co-chairs, Valerii Koliukh, Volodymyr Kreidenko, and Deputy Chairperson Lyudmila Marchenko congratulated the Azerbaijani people on the Day of Restoration of Independence. The MPs noted that Ukraine will always support Azerbaijan.

Hikmat Javadov, co-chairman of the Rada of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine, who took part in the meeting, noted that the activities of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora played an important role in the development of relations between the two countries.

The visit of the members of the Ukraine-Azerbaijan inter-parliamentary friendship group took place with the support of the Milli Majlis and the State Committee.
