House of Azerbaijan organizes assistance campaign for Kyiv residents

The Representative Office of the Azerbaijanis Council (Rada) in Ukraine (RAU) has organized an assistance campaign for Kyiv residents in the House of Azerbaijan, the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora told Report.

The campaign was held with the support of a member of the board of the RAU, chairman of the Congress of Azerbaijanis in Kyiv Oleg Krapivin: “The RAU conducts regular assistance campaigns for the people of Kyiv in the House of Azerbaijan. Every day up to 300 citizens come here to get basic necessities. This morning another assistance campaign was organized in the House of Azerbaijan in Kyiv: food, medicines, clothing and other essential goods were distributed to low-income families.”

So far, the RAU has ensured the evacuation of thousands of Azerbaijani citizens from dangerous areas.
