This year, the Azerbaijani diaspora held more than 100 pickets and rallies in different countrie, Chairman of the Committee on Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov told journalists, Report informs.
"Today, our main goal is to inform the world community of the extent of damage caused by landmines planted by Armenia and the separatist regime," Muradov said.
He said that Azerbaijan has been applying in this regard to various UN structures for three years: “These appeals are distributed as documents.
Our diaspora expresses its position on every issue related to Azerbaijan. After the 44-day war, diaspora organizations were given detailed information about the Lachin road and all the events taking place on it. Our diaspora also conducts informational campaigns. One of these actions took place in front of the UN office building. During this rally, information was presented about the landmines of Armenian production planted in the last three years.”
