Activists of the Turkish community in the US state of New York held a protest before the Wall Street Journal's central building in protest of the publication containing slander against Turkey by basketball player Enes Kanter, a wanted member of the terrorist organization FETO.

According to the local Bureau of Report, members of the Azerbaijani community in New York also supported the protesters. Demonstrators with Azerbaijani and Turkish flags chanted slogans about the terrorist organization FETO, which attempted a coup in Turkey on July 15, 2016.

During the action, the New York police dispatched to the area ensured the safety of the protesters. The statement of protest, adopted on behalf of TASC, was sent to The Wall Street Journal newspaper editors.
