Famous chef and food blogger working on joint TV project

Famous chef Takhir Amiraslanov, who heads the National Culinary Association of Azerbaijan, recently created by him, and the no less famous culinary specialist, TV presenter and video blogger Stalik Khankishiyev are preparing a joint project on AzTV and RenTV.

Amiraslanov told Report that the project is aimed at promoting Azerbaijani cuisine, and the result promises to be very interesting.

According to Amiraslanov, two culinary specialists travel to the regions of Azerbaijan to collect material on traditional recipes and characteristic ways of cooking, the specifics of the culinary habits of the local population. The collected material will form the basis of a joint book.

"In such a small country as Azerbaijan, we counted more than 4,000 kinds of dishes and their variations. In South Azerbaijan, there are more than 40,000 such variations; add the regions where Azerbaijanis live compactly, for example, Derbent, Kars, and others, and the palette will be even richer," Amiraslanov said.
