Embassy of Pakistan holds Citrus Festival in Baku

The Embassy of Pakistan has held a Citrus Festival in Baku, featuring Pakistani oranges, tangerines and kinnow (mandarin hybrid), Report informs.

The event was attended by Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan Bilal Hayee, representatives of the chambers of commerce of Azerbaijan and Pakistan, as well as food bloggers.

Opening the festival, the ambassador noted that Pakistan exports citrus fruits presented at the festival to more than 30 countries. Pakistan intends to increase the export of citrus fruits to Azerbaijan, thereby enabling the country's residents to get acquainted with Pakistani oranges, tangerines and kinnow, he added.

The festival also featured sweets made from tangerines and oranges, such as panna cotta, cheesecake, candies, etc.
