Elchin Aliyev to deliver lecture on architecture of Baku

Well-known architect, doctor of art history and professor Elchin Aliyev will deliver a lecture on Architecture of Baku today, on June 24, Report informs.

The lecture will be held at the Nine Senses art center.

Over the years of his professional activity, Elchin Aliyev has designed and implemented more than 70 architectural and design projects that have received international awards.

Aliyev is an active participant in the World Congresses of Architecture. His book “Architecture of Baku in the 1920-1930s of the period of constructivism” was awarded the First Degree Diploma of the XIV International competition for the best printed edition of the year among the countries of Eastern Europe and the CIS.

In 2016, Elchin Aliyev was elected president of the Baku Architectural Club.

In 2017, he founded (together with the writer Rzayeva G.A.) the Club of the Intelligentsia “Window - a look at culture.”
