Museums re-open in Azerbaijan

Museums in Azerbaijan are reopened after a long break due to the coronavirus pandemic. Report was told in the Ministry of Culture of the country.

Cleaning and disinfection work carried out in the museums: "The process has already been completed, and the museums are welcoming visitors."

Director of Icherisheher Museum Center, Amina Melikova, told Report that they worked online until September 1: "We only allow five people at once following rules. The number of visitors will increase several times after foreign tourists arrive in the country."
Notably, according to the decision of Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, from 06.00 on August 31, the activities of museums and exhibition halls will resume under the existing rules, sanitary standards, and requirements of methodological instructions.
