Charity exhibition “To Children of War” opens in Baku

The Embassy of Ukraine has organized a charity exhibition of paintings by Azerbaijani artists called “To Children of War,” Report informs.

The event was opened by Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladyslav Kanevskyi.

“Ukraine is now going through very difficult times in its history, defending its sovereignty and freedom. The support of countries around the world is very important for us, as well as the support of our friend, strategic partner - Azerbaijan,” the ambassador said.

He noted that Azerbaijan has already provided 1,000 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. “The regions of Azerbaijan have also joined this initiative, they also send us help. We see how the circle of help is expanding and that it comes from the heart of the Azerbaijani people,” the Ukrainian diplomat added.

All proceeds from the sale of paintings will be used to help children affected by the war in Ukraine.

The exhibition will run until May 28.
