Azerbaijani culture minister visits New York Metropolitan Museum

Azerbaijani Culture Minister Anar Karimov has visited the Metropolitan Museum in New York, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting with the museum’s CEO Daniel Weiss, the Azerbaijani minister discussed several important issues.

The sides exchanged views around an exchange of experience and methodology of the Metropolitan Museum with Azerbaijani museums, and conducting training programs.

Talks were held on the organization of exhibitions and other events, as well as opportunities for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and areas for future close cooperation.
