Azerbaijan to apply for inclusion of its intangible heritage in UNESCO list

Azerbaijan will appeal to add more items to "Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity," Azerbaijani Culture Minister Anar Karimov said at a press conference on "Ministry of Culture: Goals and Outcomes in 2021," Report informs.
According to Karimov, next year, the ministry will apply for the inclusion of several materials and cultural samples in the "Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity" of UNESCO: "These are "Traditional silk production for sericulture and weaving", "Pearl Art", "Pahlevani and zourkhaneh rituals and sports", "Molla Nasraddin oral folk literature", "Tea culture", "Balaban crafts and performing arts".
