Speaker: Kazakhstan supports Azerbaijan regarding COP29

Kazakhstan supports Azerbaijan regarding COP29, which will be held in Baku this November, Chairman of the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament Yerlan Koshanov said at the 13th plenary meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA), Report informs.

He said that today the green agenda is important for all countries:

“We are currently facing large-scale challenges. In the spring, there was a difficult situation in Kazakhstan - floods, and torrential rains. Other countries provided assistance to us. Thanks for this help. We must come together. Because countries cannot fight climate change alone. We must implement the green agenda by 2040. This agenda must be supported by our parliaments.”
