Achieving net zero emissions in the aviation industry may take 20, 30, or even 40 years, Dave Rouse, CEO and Co-Founder of CarbonClick, said at the opening of the Green Zone event, part of COP29 in Baku, Report informs.

"The aviation sector has a significant share in carbon emissions released into the atmosphere. However, there are ways to reduce it. In this regard, we are very proud to partner with COP29," Rouse noted.

The entrepreneur further added that Azerbaijan is a young country on the path of sustainable development. "I congratulate Azerbaijan for hosting COP29. By holding this event, your country is trying to accelerate the adoption of new steps in this direction and bring together every state in this regard," he said.
