COP29 President: Much to be done in these 12 days

Problems need to be solved urgently, Mukhtar Babayev, COP29 President, Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, said at the opening ceremony of the climate conference in Baku, Report informs.

"There is much to be done," he said, adding that the negotiations during these 12 days will be difficult.

"Disagreements must be resolved. We understand political and financial constraints, but these investments will pay off," Babayev said.
