Exchange of views held on prospects for possible co-op within COP29

A high-level round table dedicated to the 28th and 29th sessions of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28 and COP29) will be held today at the headquarters of the International Energy Agency (IEA) in Paris.

According to Report, on February 19, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yalchin Rafiyev, who will represent Azerbaijan at the event, met with IEA Executive Director Fatih Birol.

At the meeting, the deputy minister emphasized that at COP29, the participating states must make important decisions in the fight against climate change.

An exchange of views took place on possible prospects for cooperation within the framework of the Baku Conference of the Parties to COP29.
