The Public Association "Baku Political Scientists Club" has held a panel discussion on the role of NGOs in combating the climate crisis at the National NGO Forum pavilion in the Green Zone during COP29, Report informs.
Speakers addressed topics such as "Sustainable Development and Climate Change," "Environmental Education of the Population," and "Promoting Sustainable Development and Maintaining Clean Environment Among Youth."
The Chairman of the "Baku Political Scientists Club" Zaur Mammadov noted that these issues are global in nature and require international attention. Expert Elshan Ahmadov held a presentation on sustainable development, environmental challenges, and climate change in the world.
The conference paid special attention to Azerbaijan's approaches to global challenges.
