COP29 delegation taking part in sixth session of UN Environment Assembly

The delegation of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) is participating in the sixth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA6), Report informs referring to the official COP29 page on X.

“Today at UNEA6, a COP29 Azerbaijan delegation explained Azerbaijan’s inclusive approach and promise to work with all stakeholders at COP29. They also highlighted the importance of setting enhanced ambitions for NDCs,” reads the statement.

The sixth session of the UNEA6 takes place from February 26 to March 1, 2024, at the headquarters of the UN Environment Program in Nairobi (Kenya).
