COP29 CEO: Azerbaijan's role at COP29 won't be limited to mandate of host country

Azerbaijan will create new opportunities in terms of implementing the commitments undertaken in connection with the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), Chief Executive Officer of COP29 Elnur Soltanov said at a press conference at the COP29 headquarters, according to Report.
"Azerbaijan's role will not be limited to the mandate of the host country; our country will also lead the negotiations at the conference. In this sense, in November this year the attention of the whole world will be focused on Baku," he said.
