During the COP29 conference, Azerbaijan's Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population, Sahil Babayev, highlighted the crucial importance of enhancing the knowledge and skills of workers in Azerbaijan.

According to Report, in a statement to journalists, the minister addressed the challenges faced in the employment sector as green technologies expand and reshape the work environment.

Babayev stressed that one of the primary challenges is to adapt human resources to the evolving labor market by improving workers' knowledge and skills. He noted that the government is continuously implementing relevant measures to tackle this issue.

"As new technologies are introduced in our country, the nature of many jobs is changing," the minister explained. "In response, the Azerbaijan government has developed appropriate state programs and is annually improving educational programs in relevant areas."
