Azerbaijan, South Sudan mull COP29

Mukhtar Babayev, COP29 President-designate and Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, met with Pal Nuoai, the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation of South Sudan, Report informs, citing COP29 post on X.

During the meeting, it was noted that the water issue is one of the key topics in climate change matters, and special attention will be given to this subject at COP29 in November in Baku.

In addition, the parties discussed the COP29 Declaration dedicated to water issues in climate action.
