Uzbekistan to increase export of construction materials to Azerbaijan

The Uzpromstroymaterialy Association plans to increase the export of goods to Azerbaijan next year, the press secretary of the association, Jamshid Shermetov, told Report.

"Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the supply of construction materials is developing very well. Uzbek building materials, mainly ceramics, tiles and paving stones, dry mixes, plasterboard materials are exported to Azerbaijan. But we intend to supply more construction materials," he said.

He added that in January-September 2021, the volume of exports of goods to Azerbaijan amounted to almost $3 million. Next year, Uzpromstroymaterialy plans to double the figure.
