Turkiye increases corn oil exports to Azerbaijan by 30%

In the first two months of this year, Azerbaijan imported 3,867 tons of corn oil worth $6.18 million, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

Imports decreased by 7.2% in value terms and 12.7% in quantity terms compared to the same period last year.

During the reporting period, 3,483 tons of corn oil worth $5.4 million were imported from Argentina, 184.72 tons worth $379,000 from Turkiye, 193.6 tons worth $382,040 from Russia, 4.74 tons worth $11,680 from Italy, 600 kg of corn oil worth $2,710 from Germany.

Compared to January-February 2021, imports from Argentina decreased by 7.6% in value terms and 12.6% in quantity terms, imports from Turkiye rose by 45.6% and 30.1%, respectively, from Russia – decreased by 14.2% and 23.6%, respectively. Imports from Italy decreased by 88% and 89%, from Germany - increased by 22% and 25%.
