Trade turnover between Azerbaijan, Georgia up 42%

In January 2022, the trade turnover between Georgia and Azerbaijan amounted to $121,954,600 (+42%), Report informs, citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
Last month Azerbaijan ranked third among Georgia's main trading partners with an 11% share in the total trade turnover of the neighbouring country, after Turkey and Russia.
In January, the value of Georgian exports to Azerbaijan amounted to $46,789,300(+36%) and products imported from Azerbaijan - $75,165,400 (+46%).
With a 14.1% share in Georgia's total exports, Azerbaijan ranks second among the leading export partners after Bulgaria. In the total imports of Georgia, Azerbaijan was the third largest import partner after Turkey and Russia, with a share of 9.6%.
