Report informs, it was said by the first deputy chairman of the State Customs Committee (SCC) Safar Mehdiyev: "As of January, imports decreased by 65-70%.
Therefore, in my opinion, the real volume of imports will not exceed 5 bln USD."
According to the Committee Chairman Aydin Aliyev, the volume of imports will be more than 5 bln USD: "The country is expected to increase imports of machinery and equipment due to the opening of new production facilities investment. It's a nice gesture by president for entrepreneurs."
It should be noted that last year the volume of imports amounted to 9.2 bln USD.
