Baku. 8 May. REPORT.AZ/ "I propose that every entrepreneur to give suggestions on improving service sector of own country. Today, customs legislation in Azerbaijan is quite simplified, we are sufficiently provided with the necessary equipment”.

Report informs, Chairman of the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan Aydin Aliyev has said commenting on proposals of Turkish businessmen on simplifying the transition process at the customs checkpoint "Siniq korpu". According to him, this Turkish businessman should be more concerned with the problems of Turkey: "I would like to remind him that at cars sometimes stay for days and weeks at Sarp Custom Border. Today, there is a danger of becoming a narco transit corridor for Azerbaijan. This is indicated by our last year's successful operations. This year we also confiscated a sufficient amount of narcotic drugs. In a few days, Islamic games and other important events start in Azerbaijan. We must not forget that the functions of customs bodies have grown from providing economic to general security. We know how we carry out customs control."

Notably, Chairman of the Eastern Black Sea Exporters Union Ahmet Hamdi Gürdoğan has made a proposal during his visit to Baku last week.
