Baku. 15 May. REPORT.AZ/ Total value of products sold in Azerbaijan’s retail network in January-April, 2017 exceeds the sales in the same period of last year with comparative prices by 1.7% and makes AZN 10.2 bln.
Report informs referring to the State Statistic Committee (SSC), food, alcoholic and tobacco products make 50.6%, non-food products – 49.4% of overall sales and total values of sold products exceed the indicators of January-April of 2016 by 0.6% and 2.7% respectively.
In reporting period, 45.2% of money spent by customers went to food products, 5.4% to alcoholic and tobacco products, 17.7% - textile, clothing and footwear, 6.4% - electric products and furniture, 4.9% - automobile fuel, 1.3% - pharmacy and medical products, 0.8% - computer, telecommunication equipment and printing products, 18.3% - other non-food products.
In the reporting period, the average retail trade turnover per capita made AZN 263.5, which is more than the indicator of the same period of 2016 in nominal expression by AZN 36.0 or 15.8%.
