PwC: Most of tax disputes solved for benefit of taxpayers

Baku. 30 November. REPORT.AZ/ “There are such rumors in the market that none of tax disputes is solved for the benefit of taxpayer. You should not believe these rumors”. 

Report informs, ‘PwC Azerbaijan’ Director on Tax Issues Arif Guliyev told reporters.

According to him, many tax disputes are solved for the benefit of tax payers: “Such as, 44% of lawsuits filed by tax payers against taxation agencies in 2016 were resolved in Tax Appeal Council. 35% of lawsuits have been fully or partially resolved in courts of first instance, 57% - in Court of Appeal, 52% - in Supreme Court. 8% of disputes over taxation amounts have been resolved in courts of first instance, 62% in Court of Appeal, 34% in Supreme Court.
