Qatari companies have been invited to invest in Azerbaijan

The Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Azerbaijan Faisal bin Abdullah Hamad Abdullah al Hinzab.

Report informs referring to the Ministry of Economy. They stressed the high level of relations between Azerbaijan and Qatar and the importance of mutual visits in cooperation development. It was noted that Qatar's support for a just solution to the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict within the framework of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty is highly appreciated in our country.

M. Jabbarov said that cooperation between the two countries is thriving in various fields, increasing trade turnover in January-October 2020.

Parties discussed opportunities for expanding economic ties between the two countries, strengthening the role of the Joint Economic, Trade, and Technical Commission. Qatari companies have been invited to invest in Azerbaijan and participate in joint projects.

The Ambassador expressed satisfaction with our country's activities, congratulated the people of Azerbaijan on the victory, and shared his views on the prospects for cooperation between our countries.
