IFC to submit to government the proposals on economic reforms

Baku. 25 April. REPORT.AZ/ "Government of Azerbaijan is taking important steps in recent years for the development of entrepreneurship in the country. In turn, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) also intends to put forward proposals in three areas contributing to the development of entrepreneurship in the country. 

Report informs IFC representative in Azerbaijan Aliya Azimova said.

A.Azimova stated that first of all, the issue of improving the quality of supporting public services is among the proposals.

IFC representative added that IFC's strategy in Azerbaijan in the last 10 years focused on the development of non-oil sector. IFC has provided more than 500 million USD for 55 long-term project on oil and gas, finance and other sectors in the country: "Our customer banks across the country have supported more than 300 small and medium entrepreneurs."
