Germany resumes export of air conditioners to Azerbaijan

In the first quarter of this year, 28,779 air conditioners worth $10 million were delivered to Azerbaijan.

According to Report’s calculations based on the data of the State Statistics Committee, compared to the same period last year, this is 2.2 times more in value terms and 83.5% in quantitative terms.

Some 23,365 air conditioners worth $7.34 million were purchased from China, 4,849 units worth $2.41 million from Thailand, 251 units worth $108,280 from the UK, 81 units for $47,241 from Japan, 193 units for $46,940 from Uzbekistan.

Compared to a year ago, imports from China increased by 2.7 times and 2.4 times, respectively, from Thailand - by 4.8 times and 3 times, from the UK - decreased by 3.2 times and 2 times, from Japan - increased by 10 times and 27 times, from Uzbekistan decreased by 17 times and 20 times.

After 2 years and 9 months, deliveries from Germany were resumed. Three air conditioners were purchased from this country for $560.
