Georgia's foreign trade turnover up nearly 50%

In January-February this year, Georgia's foreign trade turnover amounted to $2,539.2 million (+49.2%), Report informs, citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
The volume of exports in the reporting period increased by 54.5% to $ 760.4 million, and imports by 47% to $ 1,778.9 million.
A deficit of $ 1,018.5 million was recorded during the reporting period, which is 40.1% of the total foreign trade turnover.
