Elnur Aliyev: 'Turkiye ranks first among countries investing in Azerbaijan's non-oil sector'

Turkiye ranks first among the countries investing in the non-oil sector of Azerbaijan, First Deputy Economy Minister of Azerbaijan Elnur Aliyev said at the opening event of Azerbaijan International Maarif Schools, Report informs.

“Currently, works on implementing new projects in Azerbaijan with Turkish companies are ongoing. Turkiye is the second largest trade partner of Azerbaijan,” Elnur Aliyev said.

According to the deputy minister, the Ministry of Economy provides the necessary support for nearly 5,000 Turkish companies operating in various fields in Azerbaijan to engage in comfortable business activities.

He noted that Turkish companies are also showing great interest in the work done in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan:

“Turkish companies are interested in the realization of new infrastructure projects for the revitalization of this region.”
