Countries playing significant role in tea exports to Azerbaijan named 

In January-November 2021, Azerbaijan imported tea worth $ 55.546 million from five countries, which were the main tea suppliers to Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the business meeting held on Indian-Azerbaijani cooperation in the field of tea.

This figure was $ 55.049 million in 2019 and $ 56.187 million in 2020.

Sri Lanka ranks first in tea imports to Azerbaijan. This country exported tea worth $46.829 million in 2019, $45.797 million in 2020, and $44.367 million in January-November 2021.

Russia is next with tea export worth $5.052 million to Azerbaijan in the reporting period. This figure was $4.489 million in 2019 and $4.963 million in 2020.

The third on the list is India, with the export amounting to $ 1.649 million in 2019, $ 1.639 million in 2020, and $ 2.559 million in January-November 2021.

From Vietnam, which ranks fourth, Azerbaijan imported tea valued at $ 0.458 million in 2019, $ 1.098 million in 2020, and $ 0.879 million in the first eleven months of 2021.

Kenya is the fifth country that exported tea worth $ 0.250 million in 2019, $ 0.632 million in 2020, and $ 0.878 million in January-November 2021.
