Buta Airways launches flights to Europe

Baku. 13 October. REPORT.AZ/ Within the framework of negotiations between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria, an agreement was reached to open flights between Baku and Sofia. Flights will be operated by Buta Airways low-cost airlines since January 16, 2018.

Report informs referring to the airline, the cost of one-way ticket will be 29 euros. The flights will take place once a week on Tuesdays.

Notably, from October 29, Buta Airways will carry out flights on Baku-Istanbul and Baku-Saint-Petersburg routes.

Buta Airways is the first low-cost airline in Azerbaijan, a structural unit of the CJSC Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL). It was founded in December 2016. The Airline’s fleet consists of modern Embraer aircrafts. The Airline is based in Baku, at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
