British Queen's income to exceed $ 100 mln

Baku. 27 June. REPORT.AZ/ The annual income of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain will reach a record level in 2018-2019 fiscal year (starts in April) - 82.2 million pounds (about $ 105 million).

Report informs citing The Daily Telegraph, this figure is twice as high as in the fiscal year 2018-2019. This increase in revenue over the previous year is due to the successful entrepreneurial activities of Crown Estate, which manages royalty on behalf of Elizabeth II, and increases from 15% to 25% in the next 10 years of the annual state maintenance paid to Elizabeth II, taking into account the repair of Buckingham Palace.

According to preliminary estimates, many works, including restoration, will cost in 2017-2027 at 369 million pounds (almost $ 470 million).
