Belarus starts importing chicken from Azerbaijan

From January through October 2021, Azerbaijan exported 538.3 tons of chicken meat for $524,030, respectively, up 17 times and 12 times from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

In the first ten months of 2021, Azerbaijan sold chicken only to Belarus. It was the first time Azerbaijan exported chicken to Belarus.

In 2020, Georgia was the only importer of chicken from Azerbaijan.

In eth reporting period of 2021, Azerbaijan imported 21,692 tons of chicken meat worth $29.183 million, 7.9% and 15.7% more, respectively, compared to the same period of the previous year.
