Baku to host Azerbaijan-Georgia business forum

An Azerbaijani-Georgian business forum is planned to be held in Baku on June 29, EU-Georgia Business Council Secretary-General Zviad Chumburidze told Report.

According to him, the event will be a new suitable opportunity to strengthen cooperation between the business communities of the two countries.

"The Azerbaijani Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), Georgian Embassy in Azerbaijan, and the Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia were actively involved in the organization of the business forum," he added. "The Georgian Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were also informed. We hope that the joint cooperation of the state and business circles will result in very positive steps and bring benefits."

Chairman and CEO of the Caspian Energy Club Telman Aliyev told Report that support was provided for the business forum. He noted that this issue is reflected in the memorandum to be signed today with the EU-Georgia Business Council.
