Azerbaijani citizens reduce purchase of houses in Türkiye by nearly 34%

In January–October 2023, Azerbaijani citizens bought 715 apartments (-372 apartments, or 34.2%) in Türkiye, Report informs, citing the Turkish Statistical Institute.
In October alone, the number of apartments bought by Azerbaijani citizens in Türkiye was 73, which is 26 apartments, or 26.3%, less than in October 2022.
During 10 months, 30,834 apartments (-44.6%) were sold to foreign citizens in Türkiye, and 2,552 apartments (-2.1-fold) last month alone.
Most of the people who bought apartments in Türkiye were Russian citizens, with 9,396 apartments this year and 713 in October.
The next place is occupied by Iranian citizens, with 235 apartments in October and 3,833 in January–October.
Citizens of Iraq purchased 134 apartments in Türkiye in October and 1,733 apartments in 10 months.
