Azerbaijan tops list of countries to which Georgia supply sugar and confectionery

In 2023, Georgia exported $2.31 million worth of sugar and confectionery to Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GeoStat).
This is 42% less than in 2022.
Thus, Azerbaijan ranked first among the 22 countries to which Georgia exports sugar and confectionery products.
During the reporting period, Georgia sold $3.44 million worth of sugar and confectionery to foreign countries, which is 31% less than a year ago.
Last year, Georgia exported products worth $427,000 to Russia, $345,000 to Armenia, $182,000 to Iran, and $77,000 to Estonia.
