My Cola Beverages (Pvt) Limited of Sri Lanka will commence exports to Azerbaijan and the Gulf region at the end of the year, Report informs, citing foreign media.

“My Cola Ginger beer would be marketed in both Azerbaijan and the Gulf region as a non-alcoholic drink for which there is a growing market,” CEO of My Cola Beverages (Pvt) Limited Sharm Fernando said.

“A mega campaign would be launched in the next two months in the Western province to acquire more market share, and in the next two months, all our products would be available in all leading Supermarkets. In contrast, we are the No 1 brand in the North-East mainly because our products are used in bakeries, ice cream parlors, and housewives to add cakes (Berry Drink) to other food items. The trademarks are My Cola, My Orange, My Cream, My Soda, and our flagship brands are My Orange and My Beery,” he added.

The company which produced Sri Lanka’s first bottle of water, ‘Crystal’ in 1994 from Dompe moved into the beverage sector with My Cola brands in 2004, opening a factory in kadawatha.
