Azerbaijan starts exporting waffles to another five countries

Azerbaijan imported 3,520 tons of waffles and waffle packages worth $10.275 million in January-October 2022, respectively, down 6.6% and up 15.2% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
The country imported 1,871 tons (-16.8%) of waffles worth $4.46 million (+2.7%) from Russia, 830.91 tons (+24.4%) worth $3.294 million (+45.4%) from Turkiye, 265.91 tons (+7.7%) worth $911,810 (+14%) from Bulgaria, 178.78 tons (-27%) worth $485,150 (-2.7%) from Ukraine, and 241.44 tons (-15%) worth $436,410 (-10%) from Iran.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 1,157 tons (+24.3%) of waffles and waffle packages worth $2,463 million (+73%).
In the reporting period, the country exported 565.94 tons (+3.5%) of the product worth $1.022 million (+37%) to Georgia, 357.24 tons (+31.3%) worth $925,000 (+82%) to Yemen, 79.18 tons (supplies were resumed after one year) worth $206,100 to Iraq, 27.37 tons (+29%) worth $57,000 (+78%) to Iran, and 27 tons (+30 times) worth $56,170 (+75 times) to Mongolia.
Azerbaijan exported the product to Palestine (17.87 tons worth $46,230), Israel (5.75 tons worth $9,660), Qatar (100 kg worth $310), Moldova (15.1 tons worth $28,390), and Poland (880 kg worth $1,650) for the first time in 11 years (official statistics on foreign trade in open access since 2011).
