Azerbaijan starts exporting black caviar to 2 countries

In January-May of 2024, Azerbaijan exported 0.4 tons of black caviar (sturgeon caviar) worth $415,300, an increase of 32% in quantity and 77.2% in value year-on-year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan sold 0.2 tons of black caviar (+3.4 times) worth $164,600 (+3.7 times) to the UAE, 0.1 tons (+2 times) worth $94,100 (+2 times) to the US, 0.04 tons (there was no delivery a year ago) worth $80,000 to Kazakhstan, 0.04 tons (+2 times) worth $65,100 (+67 %) to an unidentified country (purchased from Duty Free Trade Store), 0.01 tons worth $8,700 to Saudi Arabia.
Azerbaijan exported black caviar to Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia for the first time in 13 years (official statistics on foreign trade in open access since 2011).
