Azerbaijan spends $83M on imports of rubber tires

In January-October 2023, Azerbaijan imported 1.679 million (24% more YoY) units of rubber tires (for cars, trucks, buses) for $82.8 million (26% more YoY), Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan imported over 1.145 million units (+42% YoY) of rubber tires from China for $55.6 million (+47%), 181,430 units (-1.5%) from Türkiye for $10.9 million (-20 %), 107,873 units (+32 %) from South Korea for $4.3 million (+38 %), 116,374 units (+18 %) from Russia for $3.8 million (-17 %), and 14,933 units (-9%) from Japan for $1.5 million (-18%).

Over 61% of the 1.714 million units of rubber tires that Azerbaijan purchased from 34 countries in 2022, came from China.
