Azerbaijan SMEs Development Agency announces 4th grant competition

The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) under the Economy Ministry of Azerbaijan has announced the 4th grant competition to finance projects in education, science and research, Report informs, citing the agency.

According to the terms of the competition, legal entities or individuals related to micro-, small and medium-sized businesses can participate in the competition. Projects must be in one of the mentioned areas. Each participant has the right to submit only 1 project.

The project implementation period should be within 3 - 12 months. Projects fully funded by other institutions that are ongoing or completed cannot be submitted

Documents required for participation in the competition must be submitted in full. The execution of the works defined within the framework of the project should begin on December 1. In addition, the documents submitted for the competition must be written in the Azerbaijani language.

The volume of allocated financial resources and the amount of financing for each project is envisaged to be no more than 20,000 manats ($11,765).

Project documentation will be accepted from 09:00 (GMT +4) on August 14 to 18:00 on September 13, 2023.
